Byron V. Reid, VMD
Dr. Reid is the owner and founder of Reid and Associates Equine Referral Hospital. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Vet School and completed an internship in Equine Medicine and Surgery at Iowa State University along with a large animal surgical residency at the University of Pennsylvania’s New Bolton Center. He was the equine surgeon at Palm Beach Equine Clinic from 1982 though 1995, and has more than 20 years of surgical experience.
Meg Miller Turpin, DVM

Dr. Miller Turpin graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island in 1995. She completed an internship at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She completed a residency in Large Animal Internal Medicine at the New Bolton Center, University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School in 1998. Dr. Miller Turpin specializes in internal medicine case management and consultation on challenging medicine cases. She is the owner and founder of Equine Medicine Specialists of South Florida.

Sara Edwards CHT-V
Sara is our full time hyperbaric technician. After graduating form the University of Kentucky and working as a technician for Hagyard Equine Medical Institute, she moved back to Florida, began working here in 2014 and became a Board Certified Hyperbaric Veterinary Technologist. Outside the clinic she offers equine structural integration therapy and participates in cowboy mounted shooting.
Tammy Bernhardt CHT-V-
Tammy has been an equine veterinary technician/OR nurse for Reid and associates since 2004. She has been operating the equine hyperbaric chamber since 2009. She became a Board Certified Hyperbaric Technologist veterinary in 2014. Tammy has always had great passion for horses and is grateful to be able to work with them every day!
Samantha has been working with horses for over 10 years and as a veterinary technician at Reid and Associates for the past four years. Her interests cover a broad range of areas from equine reproduction to surgery. Samantha recently attended an advanced equine anesthesia course through AAEVT and will soon be a Certified Equine Anesthesia Technician. When she is not working, Samantha can usually be found at the beach with Kingston, her 5 year old mastiff cross.
Christina is a lifetime equestrian who is very experienced in a wide variety of aspects in the horse industry. She graduated from Meredith Manor International School of Horsemanship in 20O6 where she received an Equine Science Degree. After graduating, she went back to her hometown of Wellington, Florida to work and manage for top professionals in the show industry. She has been a Veterinary Technician for 10 of those years as well. In her free time, she spends time with her two children at the beach and the outdoors.
